A simple way
to find the butcher, baker, candle-stick maker and a whole lot more
in Hua Hin
Tipping - Leaving a tip for service in Thailand
is not customary nor a must as in some other countries
It is not mandatory to tip for service and many
establishments already include a 10% 'service charge' for such in
lieu of any tips a customer may wish to leave
Who actually gets the benefit of the service
charge is a totally different subject
A small tip for excellent service will be
received very gratefully
If visiting a Thai restaurant where only Thai
people eat it is often frowned upon. Not from the staff who may
receive the tip but from Thai regulars who consider that providing a
tip will only ensure that any patron (Thai or foreigner) will need
provide a tip for subsequent service
